When a tree has to come down, it has to come down right.
Careful rigging, clean cleanup, and full insurance. We handle storm damage, hazardous removals, and complex jobs in tight spaces.
The jobs we take on.
Removals range from simple backyard work to insurance jobs with engineers and adjusters on-site. Here's what we do every week.
-
Storm damage & emergencies
Same-day response for trees on houses, blocking driveways, or threatening structures. We coordinate directly with your insurance adjuster.
-
Hazardous removals
Dead, leaning, or split trees in tight spaces. We rig and lower in pieces — no shortcuts, no crushed fences.
-
Lot clearing
Builder-side removals for new construction. We work with your timeline and clear access for heavy equipment.
-
Crane-assisted removals
For trees in unreachable spots or over structures, we partner with local crane operators to lift sections out safely.
From phone call to cleanup.
Every removal follows the same five-step process. No surprises, no scope creep.
- 01
On-site walkthrough
We come look at the tree, check overhead utilities, drop-zone obstacles, and figure out whether we'll fell it whole or take it down in pieces.
- 02
Written estimate
You get a real number on paper with the scope clearly defined — including who's responsible for cleanup, stump, and any neighboring property considerations.
- 03
Permits & utility checks
If a city permit is needed (sometimes for trees in the right-of-way), we pull it. Power line work gets coordinated with Idaho Power.
- 04
The removal
Lawns get tarped, ropes go up, and the tree comes down piece by piece. We work clean. Neighbors usually don't realize we were there.
- 05
Cleanup & haul-off
Everything chipped or hauled. If you want firewood logs left bucked, just say the word. We rake, blow, and walk through with you before we leave.
Tree Removal — FAQs
Do I really need to remove this tree?
Maybe not. Before you commit to removal, we'll give you an honest read on whether the tree can be saved through pruning, cabling, or a treatment plan. We're arborists first — we'd rather keep a tree alive if it's salvageable.
How much does tree removal cost?
It depends almost entirely on size, location, and how complex the rigging is. A 30-foot pine in an open yard might be $400. A 60-foot cottonwood leaning toward a house with power lines underneath can run $2,500+. We give you a real written estimate every time.
Who's responsible if something gets damaged?
We are — full stop. Our $2M liability policy covers any damage caused by our crew or equipment. We'll show you the certificate of insurance before any work begins.
Do you remove the stump?
Stump grinding is a separate line item we can include in the same visit or come back for. We grind 4–6" below grade by default, deeper if you're planning to plant or pour over the spot.
