How we got started.
Heritage Arbor Co. started in 2008 when our founder Tom Brennan came off a decade of production climbing for a national company and got tired of watching crews top trees, skip cleanup, and pad invoices. He started taking small jobs on weekends — first for neighbors, then for a few real-estate agents who needed honest evaluations. The phone kept ringing.
Today, the company is still small on purpose. We run two crews. Every climber holds an ISA Certified Arborist credential. Tom still walks most estimates himself, and he's the one you'll talk to if you call the office number.
Where we work.
Boise, Meridian, Eagle, Nampa, Caldwell, Star, Kuna, and the surrounding Treasure Valley. We'll drive further for risk assessments and TRAQ reports, but for production work we stay close to home — we'd rather give every job our full day than chase mileage.
The crew.
Tom Brennan (founder, ISA-Certified, TRAQ-Qualified), James Park (lead climber, eight years with us), Marisol Vega (ground operations & client coordinator), and a rotating bench of certified arborist-trainees who eventually become full climbers. Everyone wears the same logo. Everyone shows up on time.
What we won't budge on.
Four principles we put on every estimate, every job, every invoice.

We never top trees.
Topping is the fastest way to kill a tree slowly. Every crew member is trained on alternatives, and we'll talk you through them on every estimate.

Cleanup is the job.
Half of what people remember about a tree service is what their yard looked like after. We tarp, rake, blow, and walk the property with you before we leave.

Estimates match invoices.
If we discover something mid-job that changes scope, we stop, talk to you, and put it in writing before continuing. No surprise line items.

Honest no's.
Sometimes the right answer is "we don't do that" or "you don't need this service." We'd rather refer you to the right person than oversell.
