Frequently Asked Questions

Are your arborists certified?

Yes. Every climber on our crew holds an ISA (International Society of Arboriculture) Certified Arborist credential, and we carry full liability and workers' comp insurance on every job — no exceptions, no contract climbers.

Do you provide free estimates?

On most residential work, yes. We'll come walk the property, look at the trees you're concerned about, and give you a written estimate with photos. For complex risk assessments or full property inventories, we charge a flat consulting fee that's credited toward any work you decide to schedule.

How do you handle cleanup?

Cleanup is built into every job. We rake, blow, and haul — large logs can be left bucked if you want firewood, and chips are either hauled away or spread on-site at no extra cost. Lawns get tarped before we climb.

What's the difference between trimming and pruning?

We use them somewhat interchangeably, but technically pruning is the broader practice — making cuts that benefit the tree's structure, health, or longevity. Trimming usually refers to shaping for clearance or aesthetics. Either way, we follow ANSI A300 standards and we don't top trees, ever.

Ready for an Honest Estimate?

Tell us what you're working with. We'll walk the property, talk through your options, and put a real number on paper — usually within 48 hours.
